Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") govern the Gridiron Edge referral program (the "Program") and are part of, and incorporate, our Terms of Use and Subscription, Refund & Acceptable Use Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in those documents.
1. Eligibility
To participate in the Program you must be 21 or older, have a Gridiron Edge account in good standing, hold an active paid plan, and comply with these Referral Terms.
"Active paid plan" means you currently have paid access to Gridiron Edge — an unexpired Daily, Weekly, or Season Pass, or a Monthly subscription that has not lapsed or been cancelled. An account with no current paid access is not eligible to earn rewards, and free or unpaid accounts do not participate in the Program.
The Program is void where prohibited. We may exclude any person or category of persons at our discretion, to the extent permitted by law.
2. How it works
Each eligible member receives a unique invite code and shareable link. You earn a reward when a person who is new to Gridiron Edge (a) creates an account using your invite code or link, and (b) completes their first paid purchase. Creating an account alone does not earn a reward. A given person can be referred only once, and referrals are attributed only at sign-up — codes cannot be applied after the fact.
We do not ask for, collect, or accept the names or contact details of prospective customers. You share your own link or code; the people you share it with decide for themselves whether to visit, sign up, or buy, and they enter their own information. There is no list of prospects to submit to us, and submitting one earns nothing.
3. The reward
For each successful referral you receive one reward: 25% off your next purchase of the plan you are on (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).
If you hold a Season Pass when you earn a reward, your reward may be applied to any plan — Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or a future Season Pass — because a Season Pass runs through the Super Bowl and your next opportunity to buy one would fall outside the reward's expiration window.
You must hold an active paid plan at the moment the referred person completes their first paid purchase. That is when a reward is earned. If your paid access has lapsed at that moment, no reward is issued for that referral, and it cannot be granted retroactively if you later resubscribe.
If your plan lapses *after* a reward has been issued to you, the reward remains valid until it expires and may be applied to your next purchase of that same plan.
Except for Season Pass rewards, your reward is tied to the plan you were on and cannot be moved to a different plan. For example, a reward issued against the Monthly plan cannot be applied to a Season Pass.
Each reward is single-use, applies to one purchase or one billing charge only, and cannot be combined with another referral reward or any other offer on the same purchase. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
If you apply a reward to the Monthly plan, the discount applies to one charge only. Your subscription then continues to renew automatically at the standard $49.99 per month until you cancel. At checkout we show you both the discounted amount and the full renewal price, and we email you before your first full-price renewal. See Subscription, Refund & Acceptable Use Policy §3.
4. Limits
You may earn up to 10 rewards per NFL season. We may set, change, or remove limits prospectively at any time.
5. Expiration
Unused rewards expire 90 days after they are issued. The expiration date is shown when the reward is issued. Expired rewards cannot be reinstated.
6. Fraud, abuse, and integrity
We may withhold, void, reverse, or reclaim any reward, and suspend or terminate accounts, for conduct that undermines the Program, including: self-referral; creating or using duplicate, fake, or coordinated accounts; shared payment methods between referrer and referred user; purchases that are refunded, reversed, or charged back; or any attempt to manipulate, automate, or game the Program.
If a referred purchase is refunded or charged back, the related reward may be voided; if it has already been used, we may reverse or adjust it.
How we decide. We use automated signals — including IP address and payment-method fingerprint matching — to flag suspected abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy. A reward may be voided automatically. Before we suspend or terminate a paid account, a person reviews the case. We exercise these rights reasonably and in good faith. If you believe a decision was wrong, email support@gridironedgesports.com and we will re-review it.
7. Sharing your invite — required disclosures and limits
You may share your invite code and link freely. When you do:
- Disclose that you get something. If you share your code publicly — on social media, in a group chat, on a forum, in a video, or anywhere else — you must clearly disclose that you receive a reward if someone signs up and purchases. A simple, visible statement such as "referral link — I get a discount if you subscribe" satisfies this. This is required by the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, and it applies to you, not just to us.
- Do not make claims we do not make. Do not state or imply any guaranteed accuracy, win rate, profit, income, or earnings from Gridiron Edge. Do not present the Service as betting advice or as a sportsbook.
- Do not share the content itself. Sharing your invite link is encouraged; republishing our picks, projections, or paywalled content is not permitted under the Acceptable Use Policy.
- No spam. Do not send unsolicited bulk email or text messages, post your code where it is not permitted, or use paid search or advertising on our brand name to distribute it.
We may void rewards and remove participants from the Program for violations of this Section.
8. Not gambling, not a sweepstakes, not a contest
The Program provides discounts on an informational and entertainment subscription service. Rewards are earned deterministically: every qualifying referral earns a reward under the rules above. There is no element of chance, no drawing, no random selection, and no prize pool. The Program is not a wager, lottery, sweepstakes, raffle, contest of chance, or gambling promotion, and confers no betting or gaming benefit of any kind.
Rewards are a benefit of existing paid membership. Only members who already hold an active paid plan can earn a reward, a reward is never offered or presented as an inducement to make your own initial purchase, and no discount on your own purchase is conditioned on you supplying us with the names of other people.
9. Data and privacy
To operate the Program and prevent fraud, we process limited data such as account identifiers, referral status, purchase and refund status, and technical signals including IP address and payment-method fingerprints, as described in our Privacy Policy. By participating you acknowledge this processing.
10. Taxes
Rewards are percentage discounts on your own purchases. They are not cash, credit, or a payment to you, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. We do not issue tax reporting forms for referral rewards. You remain responsible for any tax that may apply to you; if you have questions about your own situation, consult a tax professional.
11. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Referral Terms at any time, subject to applicable law. Material changes take effect when posted here, and we will update the "Last updated" date.
Changes are not retroactive. Rewards you have already earned and that have not expired will be honored under the terms in effect when they were issued.
12. Governing law; disputes
These Referral Terms are governed by, and disputes under them are resolved under, the same governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution provisions as our Terms of Use (§14).
